The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryker fails with the takedown

and Miller counters with a single leg into guard. Ryker didn't expect that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ryker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Miller passes Ryker's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ryker is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miller has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ryker defend it? Miller steps over the head and cranks it - Ryker is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Miller!
