Pope kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It . The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope checks a leg kick nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Amok. Pope does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pope throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pope uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Amok.
Uriel Amok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pope wants to clinch up but Amok keeps it at a distance.

Pope throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Pope tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Amok avoids it.

That has opened up Uriel Amok's cut even more.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pope throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Amok bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Pope tries to control but Amok manages to take his back.

Amok scores with punches to the body.
Pope trying to control the action but Amok just sinks the hooks in.
Well, with Amok on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Pope is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Amok is trying to stick to Pope's back but Pope is turning into Amok. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Amok's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pope.

Amok looking for a triangle here. Pope is fighting it but it looks tight! Amok pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Pope is tapping out - this one is all over!
