Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Katsuro Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsuro Sato could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shane Taylor's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Taylor throws a jab but it's blocked by Sato.
Taylor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.

Sato ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Sato shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taylor's guard.

Katsuro Sato overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Sato has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Taylor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sato is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sato is on top in guard.
Sato drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Taylor manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sato has Taylor in his guard.
Sato not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Taylor has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Sato to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Taylor is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Sato pulls down on the head and he's put Taylor to sleep! This one is all over!
