The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Requina scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Maicosuel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Requina paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Requina pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Requina keeps the fight on the outside.
Maicosuel misses with a head kick.
Requina fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Requina lands a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Requina avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maicosuel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Requina paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Requina! Maicosuel is backing up but he can't get away as Requina lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Maicosuel and ends the fight. Great knockout.
