Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Herbert Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teddy Bear is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear dodges the punch combination from Dean.
Dean changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bear tries to avoid it but Dean manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bear to the ground. Bear escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bear dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bear doesn't manage to clinch there - Dean circles away.
Dean shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dean has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bear has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Bear breaks Dean's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Bear throwing strikes but missing.
Bear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dean is keeping the position for now.
Dean controls Bear momentarily but Bear frees himself.
Dean working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bear doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bear manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dean is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Dean wants to get back to full guard.

Dean is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dean is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bear doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dean.
Bear is not content to let Dean control the position.
Dean perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dean works his way into full mount!
Bear keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bear lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dean drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bear gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bear is not content to let Dean control the position.
Dean wants to free his trapped foot but Bear is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dean is just content to waste time from the top position. Bear takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Dean drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dean seems to have locked his on tight now - Bear screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dean, as he picks up the win!
