Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wendell Diefendorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Provenzano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diefendorf kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome to the Jungle. The crowd seem to be enjoying Provenzano's choice of entrance music: America F*%K yeah!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diefendorf misses with a wild body shot.

Provenzano shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Provenzano is nestled in close to Diefendorf, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Provenzano thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Diefendorf's head.

Provenzano is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diefendorf is just riding it out for now. Provenzano eventually gives up the hold.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Provenzano lands a nice short elbow.
