Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rantis Gaumpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Speakman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaumpe comes to the cage accompanied by TRIBAL SEEDS- AWAY. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speakman tries to clinch up but Gaumpe circles away and keeps his distance.

and Gaumpe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jeff Speakman has been cut.

Speakman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gaumpe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Speakman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jeff Speakman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gaumpe and Speakman are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Gaumpe throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Speakman into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Gaumpe knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
