Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pais misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pais lands a nice looking body kick.
Silva defending well as Pais loads up on a big left hand.
Silva tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pais counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Silva takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Pais.
Silva fails to land the takedown.
Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pais sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pais sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Thizin Pais has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Silva.
Pais throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Pais sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Pais sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Silva looks gassed!
Pais fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Pais scores with a nice head shot.
Silva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pais.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pais misses with a head kick.
Pais lands a nice shot that snaps Silva's head back.
Silva is rocked!
Silva is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pais is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Silva.
Pais lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Silva is looking to close the distance but Pais sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Silva crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Silva is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
