Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nao Sei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berne Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sei tries a head kick but it misses.
Sei drops Rasputin with a beautiful combination! Rasputin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sei is looking for the KO!

It looks like Berne Rasputin has been cut.
Sei shoots in but Rasputin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rasputin gets a takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rasputin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rasputin connects with a nice short shot to Sei's temple.

Sei lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sei throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Rasputin ducks right into an uppercut from Sei.
Sei tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sei throws a left that rocks Rasputin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sei dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Rasputin regain composure!

Rasputin is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sei decides to stand back up. Sei steps back and let's Rasputin get back to his feet.
Rasputin is still on wobbly legs! Can Sei finish him?
Rasputin avoids the head kick by Sei.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Sei knocks Rasputin out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
