Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alfons Aberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Veterano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veterano has chosen Turn The Lights Out as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veterano lands a body shot.
Veterano smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A punch lands to the side of Aberg 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Alfons Aberg has been cut.
Aberg walks into a jab.
Aberg swings widly with a right hand
and Veterano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Veterano jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Aberg is rocked!
Veterano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Aberg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aberg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Veterano.
Aberg seems to have got his legs back now.
Veterano fails to land with a series of punches.
Aberg stalks Veterano and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Veterano's face. Veterano staggers backwards, shaken.

and Aberg counters with a left to the body.

Aberg gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Veterano dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Veterano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aberg moves away from the strike by Veterano.
A combination from Veterano does no damage.
Aberg works the jab nicely.
Marcelo Veterano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Veterano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Veterano throws a nice looking combination but Aberg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Veterano ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Veterano throws an overhand right that lands on Aberg's shoulder, as Aberg tries to avoid the shot.

Veterano lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Veterano.

Aberg cracks Veterano with a good jab.
Veterano getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Aberg connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Veterano tumbling to the canvas! Aberg pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Veterano was done - good stoppage!
