The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pusher staying out of range there.
Maipen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maipen misses with an uppercut.

and Pusher counters with a stiff right hand.
Maipen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Maipen looks to land a right hand but Pusher moved out of range.
Pusher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maipen.
Maipen just misses with a punch to the body.
Pusher misses with a looping left.
Pusher throws a series of punches but Maipen moves out of range.
Pusher throws a big shot that misses.
Maipen has managed to clinch.
Pusher tries to pull guard but Maipen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Maipen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pusher backwards.
Pusher goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Mop Maipen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Pusher.

Maipen dips a shoulder and cracks Pusher with a mighty uppercut! Pusher falls back against the cage and Maipen unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pusher is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Maipen screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
