The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandeira Jr throws a sloppy head kick
and Steel counters by moving into the clinch.
Steel turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Steel misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Steel working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Steel trying to control the position but Bandeira Jr is working away.
Steel cracks Bandeira Jr with a big right hand but Bandeira Jr just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
It looks like Gabriel Bandeira Jr has been cut.
Steel postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
