The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stroud rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Newton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Stroud tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Newton has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Stroud tries to lock up and control but Newton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Newton jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Stroud is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Stroud and Newton has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Newton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stroud is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Isaac Newton will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Stroud shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Newton eats them both and turns towards Stroud to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Isaac Newton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Stroud paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
