The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? G Dias is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, G Dias circles away and we're back to standing.
G Dias takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Silva tries to clinch up but G Dias circles away and keeps his distance.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.

G Dias fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. G Dias is now in Silva's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
G Dias is in close to Silva's body, working some short punches and elbows.
G Dias landing with the ground and pound.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

G Dias prevents Silva from getting back to his feet.
Silva is still in real trouble! Can G Dias finish him?
G Dias loads up on a big left hand. Silva felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - G Dias looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Silva can't hide his disappointment, as G Dias celebrates the victory.
