Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Komuto Poebalunaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poebalunaka's entrance music is Morbid Angel - Rapture. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Poebalunaka has his foot on Parker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Parker works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poebalunaka lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Parker!

Poebalunaka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Poebalunaka is nestled in close to Parker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Poebalunaka is keen to just control but Parker is a slippery customer.

Poebalunaka winds up and cracks Parker with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Poebalunaka perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Parker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Poebalunaka pulls his head out easily.

Poebalunaka creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parker on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Poebalunaka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Poebalunaka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Parker is not content to let Poebalunaka control the position.

Poebalunaka working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Poebalunaka thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Komuto Poebalunaka dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Poebalunaka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively.
Parker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Poebalunaka as he jumps to the side.
Poebalunaka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Parkers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Parker has a takedown stuffed.
Parker checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Poebalunaka throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Parker misses with a takedown
and Poebalunaka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Komuto Poebalunaka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Parker.

and Poebalunaka counters by clinching up.
Parker jumps guard but Poebalunaka stands there with Parker around his waist. Parker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Parker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Poebalunaka fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Parker is breathing heavily.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Poebalunaka swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Parker or perhaps it was just good defense by Poebalunaka which made him look bad.
Poebalunaka throws a leg kick but Parker moved away.

Poebalunaka lands a left and a right that send Parker crashing to the mat, dazed. Poebalunaka thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Parker is rocked!

Parker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Poebalunaka circles away.
Parker is still on wobbly legs! Can Poebalunaka finish him?
Peter Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poebalunaka connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Parker covering up! Poebalunaka comes in with a big uppercut and Parker goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Komuto Poebalunaka!
