Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Fonseca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Koscheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koscheck has chosen Til I Collapse By Eminem ft Nate Dog as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guilherme Fonseca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ross Koscheck!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koscheck with a jab.

Fonseca scores a takedown into full mount!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Koscheck tries to get back to half guard but can't.
A nice elbow there by Fonseca.
Fonseca lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Koscheck tries to hold on but Fonseca postures up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Koscheck is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koscheck in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Koscheck tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Koscheck is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fonseca avoids the attempt from Koscheck to control.
Fonseca controlling the position easily from mount.
Koscheck manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Fonseca seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Koscheck does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Koscheck actively working from the bottom here.
Fonseca working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Fonseca wants to free his trapped foot but Koscheck is holding on for dear life with his legs.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Koscheck is pressing down on Fonseca's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fonseca sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Fonseca slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Koscheck is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fonseca defends well.
Fonseca trying to control the position from guard on top but Koscheck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fonsecais looking to pass into half guard but Koscheck pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Koscheck is in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Koscheck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fonseca swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Koscheck drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fonseca looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fonseca looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fonseca!
Koscheck wants to control but Fonseca postures up.
Fonseca creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Koscheck sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Koscheck is trying to control Fonseca's posture but Fonseca avoids it.
Koscheck manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fonseca's best efforts.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Koscheck looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Koscheck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Koscheck is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ross Koscheck will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Fonseca counters with a one-two to the body.
Fonseca has a takedown stuffed.

Fonseca shoots in and bounces Koscheck off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Koscheck had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fonseca defends it easily.
Fonseca is stalling in the full guard.
Fonseca keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Koscheck's head.

Koscheck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fonseca doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fonseca manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fonseca wants to control from the top but Koscheck keeps moving.

Koscheck is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fonseca has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Koscheck looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Fonseca is defending well. Koscheck quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Fonseca has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Koscheck celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

During a confident post fight interview, Ross Koscheck thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
