Hogan has chosen The real American as his entrance music. Zachary Krantz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hulk Hogan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hogan feints and as Krantz raises his hands in defense, Hogan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hogan slips nicely into half guard.
Hogan is looking to stall here but Krantz recovers full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Krantz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hogan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Krantz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Hogan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Krantz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Krantz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Krantz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Krantz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hogan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Krantz.

Krantz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hogan off and has taken his back!

Hogan is in a bad position with Krantz working for a choke. Hogan manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Krantz is looking to sweep but instead, Hogan has passed into half guard.

Hogan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Hogan moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Krantz.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Zachary Krantz will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Krantz tries to clinch but Hogan moves out of range.
Krantz swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Krantz drops Hogan with a left and a right! Oh, Hogan is hurt - Krantz dives into side control looking to finish!

Hogan is rocked!

It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Krantz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hogan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hogan is still in real trouble! Can Krantz finish him?
Hogan wants to control but Krantz postures up.
Hogan seems to have recovered his senses.

Krantz throwing strikes but Hogan manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Krantz manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hogan tries to kick Krantz off but Krantz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Hogan manages to get to full guard.
Krantz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hogan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hogan pushes Krantz off and scrambles back to his feet.

Hogan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Krantz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hogan is trying to get an arm triangle but Krantz is defending well.
Hogan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Hogan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hogan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Krantz is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hogan is looking to take a break and control but Krantz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zachary Krantz dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Hulk Hogan's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hogan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Krantz.

Hogan looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Hogan is looking to work some ground and pound but Krantz has wrist control.
Krantz keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Hulk Hogan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Krantz moves out of range of the strikes.
Krantz moves away from the strike by Hogan.

Hogan gets a double leg takedown into Krantz's guard.

Krantz looking for a guillotine here but Hogan defends easily.

Krantz controls Hogan momentarily but Hogan frees himself.

Krantz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hogan wants to control from the top but Krantz keeps moving.
Zachary Krantz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Zachary Krantz.
Krantz lands a lovely overhand right.

Hogan gets caught flat footed, as Krantz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Krantz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hulk Hogan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Hogan is looking for a triangle but Krantz pushes his legs off easily.
Krantz sitting in guard here, content to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Zachary Krantz just wasn't active enough.

Krantz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
