The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mikey closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Henderson's guard.

Henderson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mikey manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Henderson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mikey sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
