Thomas throws a sloppy body shot
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control.

Thomas is looking for a sweep.
Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thomas, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas looks gassed!

Gracie has hold of Thomas's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Thomas seems comfortable defending it but Gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Thomas is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Thomas is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
