Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ike Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan misses with a body kick.
Turner tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Turner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jordan.
Jordan leaves Turner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Turner avoids the head kick by Jordan.
Turner throws a leg kick but Jordan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Turner stuns Jordan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jordan keeps Turner at a distance using the push kick.
Jordan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jordan takes a jab right on the kisser.
Turner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Turner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jordan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Turner misses with a straight right.
Jordan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner takes one to the chin there.
Turner misses with an uppercut. Jordan saw that one coming.
Joe Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner cracks Jordan with a right hand to the side of the head.
Turner connects with a leg kick. Jordan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Turner throws a hook but Jordan blocks it.
Turner is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jordan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ike Turner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A low kick from Jordan is predictable there
letting Turner counter with a right hand.
Jordan throws a nice head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jordan throws a shot from downtown. Turner moves away and avoids it.
Jordan lands with an uppercut that bounces Turner off the cage and back into range.
Jordan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jordan tried to score with a low kick but Turner checks it.
Jordan missing with a left hand there. Turner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Turner works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jordan.
Jordan looks to score with a jab to the body but Turner is just out of range.
Jordan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turner finds it's way round the side to connect with Jordan's head.
A low kick from Turner misses
and Jordan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Turner!


Jordan is rocked!
Turner throws out a leg kick but Jordan moves out of range and Turner only half commits.
Jordan is still on wobbly legs! Can Turner finish him?
Jordan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Jordan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Turner to the ground. Jordan is now in Turner's guard.
Jordan seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Turner controlling Jordan's posture.
Jordan trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Turner looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jordan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Jordan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Turner is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Turner wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jordan.
Jordan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Jordan throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Turner because Jordan loaded up on that one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Turner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jordan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ike Turner will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Turner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ike Turner is winning the standup battle so far.
Some bone on bone action there as Jordan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Turner throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Turner lands a left and a right that send Jordan crashing to the mat, dazed. Turner thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Joe Jordan has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd cheers as Turner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jordan doesn't seem phased though.
Jordan lands a nice shot to the body.
Jordan throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Turner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Turner takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Jordan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jordan misses with a wild body shot.
Jordan misses with a head kick.
Jordan throws a front kick that sends Turner stumbling back into the cage.
Jordan tries to land a body kick
and Turner counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Jordan to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Turner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ike Turner!
Ike Turner seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
