Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between al Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devon Gonzalez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, al Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Devon Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a jab to the nose.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Gonzalez sprawls well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzalez's waist but Gonzalez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Smith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Smith drives through and clinches with Gonzalez against the cage.
Gonzalez wants a takedown.
Smith drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gonzalez pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for al Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith throws a push kick but Gonzalez slaps the foot to one side.

Gonzalez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.

Gonzalez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Smith is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Smith has escaped and now he's on top!

Gonzalez is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Smith frees his head nicely. Oh but Gonzalez has switched to an armbar! Smith is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
