Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Lashley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Van Cas!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Cas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Van Cas trying to control the position from guard on top but Lashley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Van Cas with a flurry of punches that miss.

Lashley looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Van Cas passes into half guard.
Van Cas trying to control from half guard but Lashley is working away.

Lashley makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lashley wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Van Cas turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Van Cas manages to end up in side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lashley is looking to reverse the position.

Lashley takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Lashley explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Van Cas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lashley can pounce on him.
Van Cas throws a head kick but Lashley moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Van Cas or perhaps it was just good defense by Lashley which made him look bad.
Nice takedown defense from Lashley. No joy for Van Cas on that attempt.

and Lashley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Van Cas seems to be working for a kimura but Lashley defends the submission attempt.
Lashley is refusing to be controlled, as Van Cas sits in half guard.
Van Cas stops Lashley from getting back to his feet.

Lashley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Van Cas's guard.
