The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Clay. Those never looked like landing.
Clay misses with a double jab.
Halo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clay.
Halo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Halo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Clay misses with the head strike.

Halo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Halo .
Clay looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Clay fails to land with a series of punches.
Halo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Clay throws a hook but Halo avoids it easily.
Halo scores with a hook.

It looks like Cassius Clay has been cut.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Clay!
Clay falls off balance throwing a combination
and Halo counters with a low kick, right behind Clay 's knee.
Clay looks gassed!
Clay throws a jab but it's blocked by Halo .
Cassius Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Clay stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Halo .

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clay has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Halo finds it's way round the side to connect with Clay's head.
Clay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Halo drops Clay with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Clay looks back up at him and smiles so Halo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Clay is rocked!

Halo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Clay is still on wobbly legs! Can Halo finish him?
Halo connects with a body shot.
Halo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Halo drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Clay right on the button. Clay goes down! Halo follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Halo gets the win via TKO!
