The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Ferreira misses.
Zakrzewski shoots in but no luck this time.
Zakrzewski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ferreira has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ferreira feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zakrzewskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zakrzewski shoots in but Ferreira avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Ferreira counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zakrzewski's knee momentarily.

Ferreira is looking to wear down Zakrzewski with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Zakrzewski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Zakrzewski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Zakrzewski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferreira moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ferreira uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zakrzewski has time to react.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ferreira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Zakrzewski on the side of the head.

Zakrzewski moves in looking to clinch but Ferreira pushes him off.

Ferreira fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Ferreira dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zakrzewski. That did some damage!
Zakrzewski seems to have recovered his senses.

Ferreira has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zakrzewski is proving hard to escape from.

Zakrzewski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ferreira manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ferreira goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ferreira throws a monster overhand right that drops Zakrzewski! Ferreira follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
