The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puukko tries to clinch up.

Haddl takes a kick to the side of the head.
Haddl thows a body shot but no joy.
Puukko connects with a high kick.
Haddl misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Puukko.
Haddl looks to land a right hand but Puukko moved out of range.
Puukko throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Haddl keeps the fight on the outside.
Puukko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haddl swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Puukko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Puukko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Haddl thows a left - swing and a miss!
That kick from Puukko tenderised Haddl's leg. Haddl is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Puukko counters with a head kick.

Good leg kick by Puukko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Puukko throws a combination. Haddl tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Haddl cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Puukko moves out of range of the strikes.
No joy there for Puukko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Haddl lands a body shot.
Haddl misses with a series of wild punches.

and Puukko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Haddl cracks Puukko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Haddl tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Puukko was well out of range. Poor timing from Haddl.
Haddl will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Haddl throws a right and a left that Puukko avoids nicely.
Puukko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haddl circles away quickly and effectively.

Haddl bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Puukko counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Haddl is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Puukko lands a big head kick that sends Haddl to the canvas! Puukko follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
