And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Doom!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Distacio moves out of range as Doom strikes.
Distacio moves out of range of the body kick.
Doom checks the leg kick nicely there.
Doom keeps the fight on the outside.
Doom lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Distacio takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Distacio thows a body shot but no joy.
Doom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Doom wants it to stay on the feet.
Doom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Doom chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Distacio can pounce on him.

Doom takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Doom connects with a right hand. Distacio shakes it off.
Distacio scores with a jab to the body.
Distacio bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Doom's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A head kick lands from Distacio that sends Doom to the canvas. Doom tries to scramble back to his feet but Distacio brings him back down into side control.

Distacio tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Doom is trying to improve his position.
Doom controls the position for a moment.
Doom seems a little lost for a moment, as Distacio dominates the positioning.
Doom seems to have recovered his senses.
Distacio wants to take a breather but Doom manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Distacio.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Doom holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Distacio moves in looking to clinch but Doom pushes him off.

Distacio drives through and clinches with Doom against the cage.
Doom can't find room to land a body shot as Distacio controls the action.

Distacio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doom throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Doom walks into a stiff left hand from Distacio.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Doom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Doom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Distacio.
Doom works the jab nicely.
Doom misses with an uppercut
and Distacio makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Distacio lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Doom throws a looping overhand right but Distacio ducks down to avoid it.
Doom fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Distacio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Distacio's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Doom connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Distacio scrambles back to his feet.

Distacio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doom swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Doom wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Distacio throws a head kick that misses.
Distacio tries to clinch but Doom is having none of it.
Doom misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Distacio throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Doom goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Distacio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Distacio counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Doom thinking.

Distacio leaves his chin hanging out and Doom seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Distacio crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
