Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Hell's Bells. Tosh is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Stepping Razor. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Sam Hall!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Tosh!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall avoids the head kick by Tosh.
Tosh missing with a left hand there. Hall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tosh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hall.
Hall throws a half hearted mid kick.

Hall forces Tosh back against the cage and clinches.
Hall lands a nice elbow.

Hall pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hall is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tosh is defending well for now.

Tosh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hall walks away with a smile on his face. Tosh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Tosh closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are getting on Tosh's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hall just misses with a elbow thrown towards Tosh's brow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
