Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akbar Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen It's Amazing by Kanye West as his entrance music. Alexander James will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Muhammed back to the cage. James follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
James misses with a wild combination.
Muhammed scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Muhammed escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Muhammed is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We're going to have a standup here because Akbar Muhammed wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Muhammed is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

James connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Muhammed momentarily.
Muhammed takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James thuds a left hand into Muhammed's body.
Muhammed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with James but James pushes him off and we're back to square one.
James bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Muhammed's head.
James feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Muhammeds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
James throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

James misses with a series of wild punches.
Muhammed takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Muhammed moves out of range of the strikes.
Muhammed swings away with a leg kick that misses.
James throws a jab when Muhammed was well out of range.
James connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Muhammed is on the wrong end of a nice combination from James.
James lands a really nice looking cross but Muhammed seems unphased.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

James has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Muhammed tries to clinch but James moves out of range.

Muhammed tries to close the distance and clinch up but James swats him away and circles back towards the center.
James misses with a straight left.
James fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
James scores with a decent looking hook.
Muhammed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from Muhammed.
Muhammed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Alexander James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muhammed throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.
Muhammed misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
James throws out a powerful jab.
James scores with a body shot.

James connects with a right hand. Muhammed shakes it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Muhammed takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

James clobbers Muhammed with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Muhammed throws a head kick but James moves out of range.
James lands a big uppercut and Muhammed crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Muhammed looks OK. James waves Muhammed back to his feet!
Muhammed is rocked!
A jab from James misses.
Oh Muhammed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

James closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Muhammed! James dives in looking to finish! Muhammed is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander James!
