And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Davis!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker stuffs the takedown attempt from Davis. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.
Walker connects with a right hand. Davis shakes it off.
Walker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Davis under the eye.
Walker lands a right hook to the body.
Walker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Davis.
Walker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Walker gets a clinch.

Davis has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Walker clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
You can see the frustration on Walker's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Walker breaks Davis's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Walker's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walker wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.
Davis wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis looking for a sweep. Not yet Davis, not yet.
Walker trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Chuck Walker just wasn't active enough.
Walker scores with a hook to the body. Davis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Davis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chuck Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Davis.

Walker clinches.

Davis wants the takedown. Walker is fighting it off but Davis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Walker's guard against the cage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The strikes coming from Davis are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Davis has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Walker!

Davis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Davis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Walker is rocked!

It looks like Chuck Walker has been cut.
Davis lands a big shot to the head and Walker winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
