And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King punishes Monroe's body with a nice straight punch.
King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Monroe did well to prevent King getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
King is trying to control the action in half guard but Monroe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Monroe works his way to full guard. Good work.
King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Monroe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Monroe's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Monroe has locked up a guillotine! Monroe's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? King is holding on here and Monroe must be using up a lot of energy. King has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Monroe gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
