Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eaton Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes into the arena with God Hates a Coward blaring out of the sound system. Cox has chosen Hatebreed - Destroy Everything as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Eaton Cox enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Bundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eaton Cox!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bundy to score with a decent uppercut.
Bundy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bundy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bundy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bundy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bundy misses with a leg kick.
Bundy checks a leg kick.
Cox fails to land the takedown.
Bundy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bundy lands a really nice looking cross but Cox seems unphased.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck for Cox with that takedown attempt.

Cox throws a low kick but Bundy moves out of range easily.
Bundy shoots in but Cox avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bundy.
Bundy throws a strike aimed at the side of Cox's head but Cox avoids it well.
Cox takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Bundy works to advance to full mount. Cox defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bundy lands a big shot there that rocks Cox but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bundy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee warns Cox that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Cox is squirming around, avoiding Bundy's attempts to control the action.

Bundy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Cox has his foot on Bundy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bundy works his way back into a safe position though.

Bundy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bundy connects with a nice short shot to Cox's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cox throws a hook but Bundy blocks it.
Bundy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cox tries to avoid it but Bundy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cox to the ground. Cox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cox is looking to score with low kicks.
Cox tries a head kick but it misses.
Good exchange - Bundy coming out on top.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bundy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cox has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cox and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bundy checks a leg kick.
Cox throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bundy lands a front kick.
Bundy looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Both fighters circling a little - Cox finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Cox looks to throw the jab but Bundy is out of range.

Bundy throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bundy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bundy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bundy scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bundy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cox checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bundy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cox thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bundy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cox can do to turn this around?
Cox wants to land a leg kick but Bundy is out of range.

Bundy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cox sprawls well. Cox wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bundy gets slowly back to his feet.

Bundy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bundy is just content to waste time from the top position. Cox takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
