Jesus tries to sprawl but Mastadon drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Jesus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mastadon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mastadon's back!
Mastadon wants to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jesus working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Jesus gets his hands free as Mastadon looks to control.
Mastadon covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Jesus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jesus is looking to sinch up a triangle. Mastadon throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jesus's body to avoid the submission. Jesus has instead reached around Mastadon's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jesus arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
