Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolf West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haami Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mcgregor.
Mcgregor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. West manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mcgregor fails with the takedown
enabling West to counter with a crisp jab.
Wolf West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
West avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

West shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcgregor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
West wants to control from the top but Mcgregor keeps moving.

Mcgregor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
West trying to control but Mcgregor is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcgregor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
West wants to control from the top but Mcgregor keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Wolf West wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Mcgregor moves in looking to clinch but West pushes him off.

Haami Mcgregor dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nice sprawl there from West as Mcgregor shoots in.

Mcgregor lands with a kick to the temple. West shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mcgregor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. West tries to avoid it but Mcgregor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag West to the ground. West escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
West circles away from the clinch attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mcgregor.
A slow jab from West misses its intended target.
West stuffs the takedown.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mcgregor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but West swivels and escapes.

West bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mcgregor is looking to improve his position but West isn't that keen on the idea.
West can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mcgregor is looking to escape.

Haami Mcgregor has got the better of the ground game so far.

West looking to control but Mcgregor is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

West throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mcgregor tries to get back to half guard but can't.
West lands a heavy elbow.
West unloads with some shots from mount but Mcgregor bucks and avoids them well.
Mcgregor tries to lock up and control but West gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mcgregor holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as West tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

You get the feeling that Mcgregor really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wolf West will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Mcgregor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgregor is defended easily by West.
West stuffs the takedown.
Mcgregor shoots in for a double leg but West sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wolf West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haami Mcgregor.
Mcgregor tries to score a power double leg takedown but West sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcgregor somewhat.

West fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcgregor, pushing him back against the cage.
Mcgregor can't get the takedown.
West scores with a nice hook to the head.
West lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mcgregor or not.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

West lands with a short head shot on the inside.
West misses with a hook from the clinch.
West is trying to stall.

Mcgregor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
West closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mcgregor circles away.
Mcgregor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mcgregor takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mcgregor takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mcgregor scores with a crisp jab that stopped West in his tracks.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgregor is defended easily by West.
Mcgregor tries to close the distance and clinch but West swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mcgregor misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by West or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcgregor which made him look bad.
Mcgregor swings for the body but West moves out of range.
Mcgregor doesn't succeed with the takedown
and West counters with a stiff right hand.
West jabs Mcgregor right on the nose. Mcgregor blinks but takes it well.
Mcgregor scores with a kick to the midsection.

West shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Mcgregor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. West is working away from the top position though.
West seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mcgregor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mcgregor is in all sorts of trouble here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
West works his foot free and advances to mount.

West avoids the attempt from Mcgregor to control.
West is stalling here but it's allowed Mcgregor to get half guard.
