The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janek fails with the takedown.
Casey tries to clinch up but Janek circles away and keeps his distance.
Casey lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like John Janek has been cut.
Janek has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Casey finds it's way round the side to connect with Janek's head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Casey.
Janek shoots for a takedown but Casey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Casey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Janek is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Casey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Casey's back!

That was a close second round but I would say that Anthony Casey will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Casey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Janek manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Janek shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Casey pinned against the cage. Casey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Janek shoots in for a takedown but Casey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Janek thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Casey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Janek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
