The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lewis scores with a jab to the body.
A jab from Lewis finds it's way through Jones's defenses.
Chandler Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Lewis finds it's target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lewis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lewis cracks Jones with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jones looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lewis finish him?
It looks like Chandler Jones has been cut.
Jones swings widly with a right hand
and Lewis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jones's knee momentarily.
Jones drops his hands for a split second and Lewis immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Jones face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Lewis follows up with a right hand that knocks Jones into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gabriel Lewis!
