Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Bonvissuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Downstait's "This Is My Life". Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonvissuto looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Martin keeping moving, preventing Bonvissuto from controlling successfully.
Bonvissuto could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Martin has his foot on Bonvissuto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bonvissuto works his way back into a safe position though.
Bonvissuto is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Martin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bonvissuto is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Martin pulls his head out easily.
Bonvissuto is trying to get back to full guard.
Martin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bonvissuto is looking to get to half guard.

Martin stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Martin thows a body shot but no joy.

Martin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bonvissuto tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Martin is in Bonvissuto's guard.

Martin wants to control from the top but Bonvissuto keeps moving.

Martin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Martin wanted to stand there but Bonvissuto had control of the position.
Martin passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bonvissuto is looking to regain half guard here but Martin keeps moving and retains side control.

Martin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bonvissuto tries to buck Martin off but Martin is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Martin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Martin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Martin decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Martin fails to land with a series of punches.
Martin thuds his right hand into Bonvissuto's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bonvissuto fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Bonvissuto looking to score a takedown here. Martin is defending well but Bonvissuto drives through and ends up in Martin's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonvissuto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Martin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bonvissuto's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Bonvissuto is keen to just control but Martin is a slippery customer.
Martin is looking for a sweep. Bonvissuto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martin is defending against the submission attempts here by Bonvissuto.

Bonvissuto is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Martin actively working from the bottom here.

Bonvissuto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Martin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bonvissuto.

Bonvissuto is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bonvissuto lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Bonvissuto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martin keeps working.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A close round but Andrew Martin will probably get the nod.

Martin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bonvissuto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Bonvissuto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Martin drives through with a takedown into Bonvissuto's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Bonvissuto pushes a forearm under Martin's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Martin is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
