Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jean Charles Skarbowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Hopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skarbowsky's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lux Aeterna. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jean Charles Skarbowsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Hopper!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopper needs to keep his hands up - Skarbowsky had a free shot at his head there.
Skarbowsky wants to clinch.

Hopper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Skarbowsky's guard.

Skarbowsky shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hopper eats them both and turns towards Skarbowsky to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Skarbowsky throws a right hand that Hopper ducks under and follows up with a left that Hopper also avoids with ease.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Skarbowsky is pushing Hopper up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Skarbowsky lands a nice uppercut.
Skarbowsky throws a knee to the head but misses.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hopper.
Skarbowsky's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hopper has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Skarbowsky clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hopper is trying to stick to Skarbowsky's back but Skarbowsky is turning into Hopper. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hopper's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Skarbowsky.
Hopper wants to get back to his feet but Skarbowsky is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Nelson Hopper hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Hopper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hopper is fighting to break Skarbowsky's control of his arms but Skarbowsky is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
