The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tritter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lafleur sees it coming and avoids it easily.

It looks like Reggie Lafleur has been cut.

Lafleur rushes Tritter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lafleur shoots for a double leg takedown but Tritter sprawls well. He's pushed Lafleur's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lafleur tries to close the distance and clinch but Tritter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tritter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lafleur has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lafleur and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Tritter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Tritter throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Lafleur stumbling backwards into the cage! Lafleur bounces back off the cage towards Tritter, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tritter lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tritter celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
