The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salonoy throws a nice inside leg kick.
Emelianenko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Emelianenko tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Salonoy drops Emelianenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Emelianenko looks back up at him and smiles so Salonoy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Mirko Emelianenko has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salonoy throws an uppercut from hell that sends Emelianenko clean off his feet! He's out cold! Salonoy stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
