The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howlett scores with a decent looking hook.
Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Howlett lands with a good body shot.
Howlett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Howlett.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Smith moves forwards but Howlett connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Howlett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howlett lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Smith falls backwards - clearly groggy! Howlett dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
