Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enrico Mazzarri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hussak Claw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claw misses with a takedown attempt
and Mazzarri makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mazzarri tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice sprawl there from Mazzarri as Claw shoots in.
Mazzarri lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mazzarri fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mazzarri lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mazzarri ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Claw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mazzarri throws out the jab.

Mazzarri closes the distance and clinches.
Claw is looking for a takedown.
Enrico Mazzarri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hussak Claw.

It looks like Hussak Claw has been cut.
Claw is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mazzarri gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Claw tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mazzarri smiles and moves away.
Mazzarri lands a nice shot that snaps Claw's head back.
Nice straight punches there by Mazzarri. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mazzarri.
Mazzarri lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Claw uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mazzarri.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mazzarri slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Claw wants to sweep but no luck.

Mazzarri throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mazzarri drops an elbow to the side of Claw's head.
Mazzarri works his foot free and advances to mount.

Mazzarri swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Claw is now in Mazzarri's guard. A big mistake from Mazzarri there, giving up the dominant position!

Claw has gone for a leg lock! Mazzarri slips out almost immediately though and dives into Claw's guard.

Mazzarri keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Claw's head.
Claw preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Claw tries to roll over but Mazzarri keeps him under control.
Mazzarri working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mazzarri lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

That has opened up Hussak Claw's cut even more.

Claw looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Mazzarri uses his free foot to push down on Claw's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Claw.
Claw looks gassed!
Mazzarri lands a big shot there that rocks Claw but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The cut above Hussak Claw's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mazzarri lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Hussak Claw's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hussak Claw's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
