Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Bruens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruens comes to the cage accompanied by River Below. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruens keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Callahan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bruens counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Callahan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Callahan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bruens.

Callahan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Callahan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bruens is out of range and Callahan settles back down.

Callahan has his foot on Bruens's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bruens works his way back into a safe position though.

Bruens feints and then cracks Callahan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Callahan down.
