The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Bede. No joy for Santi on that attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Santi. Bede does a little dance to reset his feet.
Santi throws a hook to the side of Bede's head but Bede sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bede is looking for a sweep. Santi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Santi is looking for a kimura but Bede is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Santi to get the leverage.

Santi wants to work for an arm triangle but Bede is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
