The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feigel throws a head kick that misses.

Feigel clinches up against the cage.

Feigel has hold of one of Thompistone's legs. Thompistone is fighting the takedown attempt but Feigel gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Thompistone has his foot on Feigel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Feigel works his way back into a safe position though.

Thompistone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Feigel defends well.

Thompistone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Feigel's guard.

Feigel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thompistone is aware though and is defending well.
Thompistone would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Feigel has a closed guard, preventing Thompistone from standing up.

Feigel scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Feigel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Feigel wants to control from the top but Thompistone keeps moving.
Thompistone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Feigel's guard.
Thompistone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Feigel wants to improve his position but Thompistone is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Feigel has hold of Thompistone's hands but Thompistone slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Thompistone is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Feigel is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Thompistone jumps into side control!
Thompistone lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Thompistone decides to stand up, so the ref orders Feigel to his feet.

Thompistone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Feigel was well out of range. Poor timing from Thompistone.
Thompistone Rushes Feigel and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Feigel is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Thompistone Piles on the pressure and Feigel crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
