Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fallon Richmount (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carvalho is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by THE CONTENDER. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho throws a right hand that Richmount ducks under and follows up with a left that Richmount also avoids with ease.
Richmount goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Carvalho moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Richmount goes down! Can Carvalho finish him!?

Richmount is rocked!
Carvalho wants to stand but Richmount has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Oh Richmount is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carvalho is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Richmount looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Richmount wants to sweep here but Carvalho controlling him for the moment.
Carvalho has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Richmount is proving hard to escape from.
Carvalho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richmount. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carvalho wants to stand and escape but instead Richmount has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Richmount seems to have got his legs back now.
Richmount pushes down on Carvalho's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Carvalho looks like he's trying to stand up.

Richmount is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Richmount wants to pass to mount but Carvalho is defending the position.

Richmount is nestled in close to Carvalho, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Carvalho tries to get to full guard but Richmount has control of the leg.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Richmount seems to be looking for submissions.

Carvalho is trying to stand back up but Richmount is controlling him

Carvalho kicks Richmount off and gets back to his feet.

Richmount dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Carvalho. That did some damage!

Richmount tries to clinch up but Carvalho circles away and keeps his distance.

Ricardo Carvalho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Richmount is looking to clinch but Carvalho is avoiding it.
Carvalho connects with a single shot there.
Carvalho misses with a jab, cross combination.

Richmount has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carvalho wants to break the clinch but can't.

Richmount manages to break the clinch.
Richmount dodges the punch combination from Carvalho.
Richmount throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carvalho takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Richmount drives through with a takedown into guard.
Richmount stops Carvalho from standing up.
Richmount working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Richmount won't allow Carvalho to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Richmount tries to free his leg and advance position but Carvalho is retaining full guard.
Carvalho wants to stand up but Richmount is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carvalho throws a series of punches but Richmount avoids them all with ease.
A slapping leg kick lands for Richmount.
Richmount circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carvalho closes the distance looking to clinch
and Richmount counters with a head kick that wobbles Carvalho - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Richmount sends him down. This one is all over!
