Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Roshan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Kowalsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roshan comes to the cage accompanied by T.I. - I'm Back. Kowalsky has chosen face fisted as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Damian Roshan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jan Kowalsky!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalsky misses with a body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jan Kowalsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Roshan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Roshan wants to get up but he can't break Kowalsky's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kowalsky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roshan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roshan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kowalsky swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Roshan is now in Kowalsky's guard. A big mistake from Kowalsky there, giving up the dominant position!
