Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Waits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Sosnowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waits comes to the cage accompanied by Jimmy Jazz. Robert Sosnowski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Sosnowski!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waits thows a body shot but no joy.
Sosnowski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sosnowski tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Waits stuns Sosnowski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Waits lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sosnowski circles away quickly and effectively.
Waits misses with a wild combination.
Sosnowski misses with a head kick.
Waits misses with a straight right.
Waits misses with a few strikes there.
Waits moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sosnowski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Waits cracks Sosnowski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sosnowski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Waits.
Waits throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sosnowski sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sosnowski chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Waits can pounce on him.

Sosnowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Waits throws the left hand but Sosnowski avoids the punch easily.
Waits feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sosnowskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Waits ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sosnowski moves away.

Sosnowski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Sosnowski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Waits finds it's way round the side to connect with Sosnowski's head.
No joy there for Waits, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sosnowski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sosnowski's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Waits comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Waits throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Waits lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Sosnowski counters with a two punch combo.
Waits fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sosnowski manages to avoid it.
Sosnowski avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Waits throws a hook but Sosnowski avoids it easily.
Sosnowski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Waits.
Sosnowski misses with a head kick.
Waits will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sosnowski tries to land a front kick but Waits steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sosnowski is rocked!
Waits lunges at Sosnowski with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sosnowski's hand.
Sosnowski is still on wobbly legs! Can Waits finish him?
Sosnowski gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Waits gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sosnowski is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
