The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Wojtek Kuter hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Chernova throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kuter's waist but Kuter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chernova off to one side.

Chernova has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kuter is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chernova.
