The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ellenberger, right into the meat.
Ellenberger lunges at Richards with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Richards's hand.
Ellenberger is looking to slow Richards down with leg kicks.
Ellenberger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Richards.
Richards ducks under a wild hook from Ellenberger.
Richards connects with a crisp jab.
Ellenberger lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ellenberger slips under a jab from Richards.
Richards lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Richards.

Richards tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Richards takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ellenberger lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Ben Richards has been cut.
Richards tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Ellenberger lands a big head kick that sends Richards tumbling to the mat! Ellenberger takes a step backwards and waves Richards back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
