The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but King is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
Gracie postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for King to stand up.
King misses with a wild combination.
Gracie looking to score a takedown here. King is defending well but Gracie drives through and ends up in King's guard.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into King's guard.

King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
King looks like he's trying to stand up.
